Facilitator: Phil Yates, Coachwise Consultants
Audience: This event is aimed at junior consultants who are new to the pharmaceutical industry. However, it is also open to more senior consultants/account managers who think they would benefit from having a general overview of the whole industry.
Outline: The course will explore the landscape and function of the global pharmaceutical industry and will look at how medicines are developed, manufactured, marketed, distributed and regulated. We will look at how companies operate globally and within different sectors, e.g. generics, small molecules, biologics, orphan drugs, consumer etc. An overview of the varied commercial issues faced by the global industry and its stakeholders will help support strategic thinking and aid participants' understanding of client relationships.
