Mental Health, Wellbeing and the HCA

In communications, our people are our most important asset.  Their health and wellbeing, both physical and mental, should therefore always be of the highest priority. But sadly, although improving, mental health and wellbeing still have stigmas attached. Just opening up the conversation on these subjects can start to make a real difference and that is why we encourage all those in communications to embrace this initiative.

IT'S TIME TO TAKE POSITIVE ACTION ON MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING.

In 2021 the HCA joined with the CIPR and PRCA in supporting the HEARD MENTALITY campaign.  Following work tracking industry mental health and wellbeing, for the first time our organisations worked together to launch the HEARD MENTALITY campaign to inspire communications professionals to take positive action on mental health across the industry.

This year we are collaborating with PAPYRUS, a charity dedicated to the prevention of suicide and the promotion of positive mental health and emotional wellbeing in young people, for our WELLBEING WEEK 10th - 14th October 2022.  More information available on the WELLBEING WEEK 2022 menu tab.
